Meet The Production Team
Gwendolyn P. Brazier began teaching for the Fairbanks North Star Borough School District in 2009. In her first year with the district she taught general music and physical education at Salcha Elementary School. 2010 was the beginning of her current part time music position at Barnette Magnet School teaching band and orchestra. In 2013 she began teaching at Arctic Light Elementary School making her a full time Band and Orchestra teacher.
Her talents do not end in the classroom. Ms. Brazier is an avid Fairbanks arts community supporter and performer. She has performed as a bassist in the Fairbanks Symphony Orchestra and as a guest soloist and choral member of Choir of the North and the Alaska Camerata. She has directed and performed in numerous shows throughout the Fairbanks theater community. She has worked and performed with the Fairbanks Drama Association, Fairbanks Light Opera Theatre, Fairbanks Shakespeare Theatre, UAF Theater and Film, Fairbanks Opera as well as the University of Alaska Student Drama Association. Currently, she sits on the board of directors for Fairbanks Light Opera Theatre in the position of Past President and performs with a popular 70's funk band.
Adam Kohl received his Bachelor of Musical Arts from Brigham Young University - Idaho in 2007. He has performed with multiple music ensembles, including symphony orchestras, pit orchestras, concert bands, and was enlisted in the Army Band for six years.
Adam's theatre experience in Fairbanks consists of being on stage for Sweeney Todd, Secret Garden, Les Miserables, and Once Upon A Mattress. His directorial debut was in 2012 when he lead the music for The Music Man. He brings a great deal of music experience, having worked with great musicians all around the world. 'The Last Five Years' is a musical he fell in love with right after hearing the first note. This is an amazing show that shares a great story.
Kathryn (Katie) M. Everson is a PhD student in the University of Alaska Museum Mammals Collection and the UAF Biology & Wildlife Department. Originally from Cincinnati, Ohio, Katie studied piano for 12 years and performed in dance, singing, and acting.
Katie has supported the Fairbanks arts community since moving to Alaska in 2012, but only became involved with local theater in 2016 when she performed on stage in the Fairbanks Light Opera Theater production of Once Upon a Mattress. She hopes to bring energy and a fresh perspective to Interior Independent Theater.
